Where we work
By 2045, the world’s urban population is expected to reach six billion. Emerging economies like Uganda must navigate this rapid growth or risk an explosion of urban poverty due to inadequate capacity to address the challenges.
LCMA began its mission on 27th May 2005 in Jinja,Uganda, one of Africa’s largest informal settlements, where communities face significant barriers, including lack of access to healthcare, affordable clean water, platforms to advocate for their rights, and opportunities for their children.
Today, we operate across Uganda Africa, extending our impact to Peri-urban and rural areas. Our efforts in these regions focus on supporting orphans, educating children from disadvantaged background , community healthcare and rural-to-urban refugees.
